This is a seriously good collection. Launched only a bit over a year ago, it has the look and feel of a well-established collection. But this is no surprise considering its roots. Founded by Laura Vazquez and Nina Khosla, and designed by Paul Helbers, it was bound to be something special.

Kim Shui is a dynamic and daring designer. Her looks are young and vibrant, and she doesn’t hesitate to take chances, yet at the same time, her silhouettes and styles are quite wearable. She has an obvious talent for draping, and her fabric choices are diverse, but immensely flattering.

Haoran Li and Siying Qu, the founders of Private Policy, are doing something different. This is a very ambitious thing to say in the world of fashion these days, but they truly are. They’re not tied to anything traditional; yet their collections are thematic interpretations of periods in time, through the lens of AI and the evolution of today’s younger, bolder and more daring consumer.

I didn't intend to write the review I'm about to write. Verdavainne is not a label I was familiar with. However, I was thoroughly impressed with so much at this presentation, I had no choice but to acknowledge it.
