Unraveling the mythology of American glamour – Bach Mai presented his Spring Summer 2026 collection at New York Fashion Week. Irreverent and effusive, the designer’s view of glamour is “lived in” rather than rehearsed. Bach’s design presence is undeniable – magnetism without demand. Fading away to reveal, the everyday into the fantastical – and rendering the fantastical within reach. Circles act as portals into the structures beneath, exalting exposed infrastructures and linings reimagined in sequin. Liminal colors drawn from faded paintings of a dream world, punctuated with moments of boldness. Even in their grandeur, an ease persists, dramatic volumes worn with familiarity – all reminding us that glamour is at its most powerful when it reveals rather than conceals.

For Designer Frederick Anderson, his inspiration was “JOY” for the Spring 2025 Collection. Says the designer, “Finding one’s “Joy” is a difficult process made even worse when the world is in such a negative place. But today, I wanted to share a bit of my joy and thankfulness for the beauty around us… and inside us….the show takes you on a mini vacation to “joy”.
