SUMMARY:Eras Of Fashion - Celebrating 250 Years Of Fashion In Philadelphia
DESCRIPTION:This event will premier a fashion exhibit curated from the archives at Moore College of Art and Design that will feature the Eras Of Fashion [Colonial\, Federal\, Gilded\, Jazz\, Modern]\, celebrating the 250 years of significant events that occurred in Philadelphia’s fashion story from 1776-2026 including Nan Duskin\, who opened Philadelphia’s premiere luxury department store and established FGI Philadelphia in 1938\, which became known for hosting the prestigious Crystal Ball from 1957 to 1983. \n\nIn addition to the garments from the archives provided by Moore College of Art and Design\, we have collaborated with several designers such as Conrad Booker\, Jeantrix\, Kevin Love of Ke’ Collection\, Kate Law Sarver of Wickedly Stitched by Kate\, and Andre Moore of Blue Bamboo who are creating vignettes\, dressing live models\, and speaking as storytellers. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume representing their favorite fashion era\, participate in the raffle/silent auction\, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres\, drinks\, and networking.\n
