Private Policy is definitely a sleeper brand. A former FGI Rising Star Finalist, it should be much more well-known than it is. As far as street wear goes, it’s polished and smart. But it’s much more than street wear. There’s a tough chic to the women’s wear that’s particularly appealing. And the menswear is totally cool. The styling is great. Tailoring is a must these days, strangely, considering the pandemic climate and the casual dressing we’ve gotten accustomed to. And their skills at soft tailoring are honed.

Soft and layered, or body con and sleek, their draping is wonderful. Accessorized smartly, each outfit is a statement. The menswear is particularly compelling in its detail and layering. But that’s not meant to detract from the great women’s sportswear and dresses. The overall look of the entire collection is of the moment. Color choices, fabric choices, combinations of fabrics, all tell a consistent story. And it’s a bold one. It would be pushing the envelope for me, but I’d wear most of it! Definitely one to watch!
