“My fall collection reflects a deeply emotional tribute to my childhood growing up in Odisha, India. The inspiration for this collection began with a pilgrimage – a sacred journey to three of India’s holiest sites” says Bibhu, “The intention of the Fall 2025 collection carries the spirit of my family and particularly the women of my life – their stories, their grit, and the grace with which they live their lives.”
Dennis Basso
Designer: Dennis Basso
FGI Night of Stars Lifetime Achievement Award
Dennis envisioned this collection gracing women (#DBGirls) of all ages as they move through the vibrant streets of New York City, embodying confidence and sophistication. Every piece in this collection holds special significance, meticulously crafted in the atelier right here in the great state of New York—a testament to Dennis Basso’s commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.
The color palette is both sophisticated and versatile—champagne, cream, and off – white are elevated with hints of gold, while black-and-cream tweeds are enriched with pearl embellishments and subtle touches of Lurex. Rich tones of deep Bordeaux and classic black ground the collection, ensuring a balance of richness and neutrality.
The fabrics—silk charmeuse, duchess satin, tweed, velvet, organza, and tulle—exude luxury and are accented with intricate hand – embroidered details. Silhouettes are lean and elegant, with long sleeves and romantic ball gown skirts, creating a harmonious blend of structure and softness.

For the Frederick Anderson Fall 2025 collection… “Romance isn’t dead,” said Anderson. “My collection inspirations have included Northern Africa, the Bomba music of Puerto Rico, and now Spain in the early 19th Century. It brought on passionate emotion, rebellion and individualism. We need to return to this romantic vision.” The FW25 show opened with JNAI BRIDGES, Singing Hababera from Georges Bizet’s “Carmen”.
